The Punisher Joins Daredevil Season 2

Matt Murdock will return for a second season of Daredevil, only this time he won’t be the only vigilante in Hell’s Kitchen. The other one will be a bit more… Punishing.

Bernthal played Shane in the first two seasons of The Walking Dead before his character was (FINALLY) killed off. He seems like a decent choice for the role of Frank Castle, lets just hope he isn’t quite as irritating as he was on The Walking Dead or we’ll have to send Carl in to finish him off again.

Marvel Television describe The Punisher as “a vigilante who aims to clean up New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen by any means necessary, no matter how lethal the results.”. Pretty standard, but we know who he is already. They’ve already tried and failed to bring Castle to the big screen several times, hopefully he works out on the small screen.

Daredevil season 2 will begin streaming on Netflix sometime next year.

About Drew Comerford (151 Articles)
The youngest student to ever be accepted to MIT (7 years old) Drew was a certified child genius. Unfortunately his other organs, limbs...basically everything were nowhere near as powerful as his brain. Drew in a desperate attempt to match the power of his body to that of his mind started experimenting with different animal organs and appendages. Some worked out, and some...not so much. The team takes great pleasure in replacing Drew's parts (which he loses regularly in battle) with the most obscure and useless replacements they can find. Drew is not a fan of this ongoing tomfoolery.
