Uwe Boll Sends a Message to Fans and Crowdfunders *NSFW*

What can be said about German director Uwe Boll? His movies are bottom of the barrel garbage that we can’t seem to stop talking about. This mainly has to do with the fact that he takes our beloved childhood video games and turns them into trashy action-horror flicks that are so bad the term “B-movie” doesn’t even apply to them.

Uwe Boll has “masterfully” crafted and funded films such as House of the Dead and Postal through a financing loophole that provided Boll with surprisingly large budgets. With that loophole now closed Boll has been looking to Indiegogo and Kickstarter to crowdfund his movies.

In 2009 Boll made a film that was slightly better than abysmal but still pretty bad. Rampage was a politically driven action flick that stars Brendan Fletcher as a man consumed by revenge as he builds a Kevlar body suit then proceeds to go on a murderous killing spree. The sequel didn’t catch nearly as much attention as the original and for very good reason. Over the last couple months Boll has turned to crowdfunding to get production started on the third film of the series, “Rampage 3: No Mercy”. His first attempt to raise money for the film was a failure, leaving him with only $6,375 out of his requested $100,000. It seems that with only 3 days to go the latest attempt to get Rampage 3 crowdfunded will fail again — The Kickstarter has earned only $25,000 out of the more realistic request of $55,000.

It seems as if no one wants to see this movie let alone pay for it to be filmed. Uwe Boll has released a final update on the Kickstarter and well I’ll just let the video speak for itself.
