The End of the World is Here with the “X-Men: Apocalypse” Trailer

Things are looking pretty bleak and well, apocalyptic for the X-Men in the first full trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse.

We get our first looks at pretty much every single character that was confirmed to be in it, and a general idea of what the plot is. As we expected, people may have judged Apocalypse too soon. He looks a little less like he was sent down by Rita Repulsa to fight the Power Rangers and a lot more like badass villain. Some more post-production has done the character a lot of good.

This movie actually looks awesome. We were all very happy to see Spider-Man join the MCU, but honestly as far as I’m concerned, Fox can hold onto the mutant rights as long as they keep up with the great movies they’ve been making lately. First Class and Days of Future Past were both excellent movies, and we can just pretend the Wolverine solo films never happened. And The Last Stand actually didn’t happen, since DOFP rewrote the timeline.

X-Men: Apocalypse hits theatres on May 27th, 2016.

About Drew Comerford (151 Articles)
The youngest student to ever be accepted to MIT (7 years old) Drew was a certified child genius. Unfortunately his other organs, limbs...basically everything were nowhere near as powerful as his brain. Drew in a desperate attempt to match the power of his body to that of his mind started experimenting with different animal organs and appendages. Some worked out, and some...not so much. The team takes great pleasure in replacing Drew's parts (which he loses regularly in battle) with the most obscure and useless replacements they can find. Drew is not a fan of this ongoing tomfoolery.
