Professional wrestler Leon White, best known as Big Van Vader, or Vader died on Monday of heart failure.
White’s family announced his death Wednesday morning via twitter saying “his heart had enough and it was time.”
Around a month ago my father was diagnosed with a severe case of Pneumonia. He fought extremely hard and clinically was making progress. Unfortunately, on Monday night his heart had enough and it was his time. pic.twitter.com/hJYjumvxjH

The former New Japan, All Japan, WCW, and WWE superstar had been talking about his health issues on social media for the last couple years; at one point, saying doctors told him he had two years to live in November 2016. After meeting with other doctors who gave him a more positive prognosis, he would later distance himself from his initial diagnosis.
He continued to wrestle, even while undergoing treatments and surgeries and wowed fans with the legendary aerial assaults he was known for.
Rest in peace Mr. White
