Three Useful WoW Addons | World of Warcraft

First off, I wish to address “people who use WoW addons shouldn’t play the game” WoW players; this article isn’t for you. If you want an addon-free article, read my tips for Battle for Azeroth.

For the rest of you, here are some addons that members of my guild (Eradication) find useful.

H.H.T.D (Healers Have to Die)

HHTD, Healers Have to Die, Wow Addons

In addition to targeting enemy healers in PVP, H.H.T.D. also lets you know when your friendly healer is under attack whether in PVP or PVE.

H.H.T.D. automatically places a marker above the enemy healers toon so you know where to focus your attacks on in battlegrounds. It’s very useful for support players who prefer not mixing it up with 1v1 dps.

DBM (Deadly Boss Mods)

WoW Addons, DBM, Deadly Boss Mods

Essentially, an in-game walkthrough on world bosses in dungeons and raids. It alerts you to debuffs, boss moves, and when to get the heck out of dodge.

It’s a highly useful addon that nearly all raiding groups require from their raiders. And for those who learn better by doing, DBM is a great way to learn the mechanics of any encounter.

Details!

Details!, WoW Addon, Damage Meter

If you see a player showing what everyone’s DPS (damage-per-second) is during an encounter, chances are they are using a damage meter addon like Details!

The Details! addon doesn’t just show you DPS or total damage, it can show a myriad of other important information as well, such as healing done/taken and resource use.

What I like most about this particular addon is that it shows me where I stand with other DPS players. It forces me to find ways to improve the way I approach an encounter.

What are your Favourite WoW Addons?

These are just a tiny fraction of available WoW addons. What addons do you find most useful?
