Steve McGinnis – Rise of the Harvester Film Adaptation
McGinnis does double duty as illustrator and write of the graphic novel series Rise of the Harvester. To Fans and critics, The Harvester series is a love letter, or homage, to old school slasher flicks and books.
And if that’s not enough, the Horror Equity Fund announced in May 2018 that they were going ahead with plans to adapt the series into a feature film.
“Turning graphic novels from print art to a proper screenplay that flows can be tricky, but they did it seamlessly with respect to the original story. I am very pleased and excited to be collaborating with Horror Equity Fund on The Harvester Franchise. I foresee a very successful partnership between us while creating a new Slasher icon.” Steve McGinnis.
Steve McGinnis – Children’s Book Illustrator
No doubt, some of you—like myself—are surprised to discover that McGinnis is also a children’s book illustrator. In fact, he has illustrated over 40 children’s books!
I don’t know about you, but I think that’s awesome.
One thing’s for certain, McGinnis will not be pigeonholed. And nor is he afraid to do things differently.
