Entertainment Weekly and Fox Give First Looks at X-Men and Deadpool

The next issue of Entertainment Weekly is featuring some awesome new pictures from X-Men: Apocalypse, including some first looks at some of the new characters to the franchise. We’ll start with the cover, featuring Apocalypse himself, Oscar Isaac, Olivia Munn as Psylocke, and returning star Michael Fassbender sporting a sharp new Magneto costume.

There’s also a first look at Alexandra Shipp who will be playing a younger version of Halle Berry‘s Storm.

And here’s some shots of the rest of the new young actors to join the franchise- Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Lana Condor as Jubilee and another shot of Storm:

And X-Men Apocalypse won’t be the only Fox Superhero film that we have pictures from this week- Some high resolution photos from the Deadpool trailer are here as well. We’ve seen leaked versions of the trailer already, but here’s some shots of the merc with the mouth Ryan Reynolds, his shape-shifting girlfriend Copycat, played by Morena Baccarin, TJ Miller as Deadpool’s best friend Weasel being shaken down by Angel Dust, played by Gina Carano, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead (and sporting an X-Men uniform) and Ed Skrien as the villain Ajax.

  1. Here’s hoping Fox is smart enough to rip off, I mean “emulate”, Marvel Studios and merge their various superhero flicks together in a cohesive, money-making universe.
