Ok, let’s be honest; I’ve never actually played a World of Warcraft (WoW) pre-patch event.
Quite possibly, I was expecting too much. Many of my guildmates were disappointed in the pre-patch event but didn’t seen incredibly upset about it.
Most of these guys and gals have played since Vanilla WoW and didn’t believe in the least that this would be indicative of the Battle for Azeroth (BfA) expansion.
So, I’ve tempered my expectations. Besides, there really is a silver lining.
Rediscovering My Love for World of Warcraft
I’ve had the chance to explore old expansion areas and it’s been giving me an opportunity to rediscover why I play WoW to begin with.
I absolutely love the Mists of Pandaria expansion. Yet, I never did get a chance to finish many of the questions or gain the useful—and not so useful, but cool—items.
So, while I wait for Battle for Azeroth to drop on August 14, 2018, I’ve been catching up on a bunch of things.
I’ve been farming rep; catching up my secondary skills—especially archaeology because it is way behind; straight up exploring; and hanging with my guildmates.
It didn’t take too long to realize why I loved this game to begin with.
Ah World of Warcraft, I could never stay mad at you.
